Light Ray Studios is a prototype shop where Rae designs and fabricates both custom and limited production lighting fixtures and sculptural installations. The facility consists of a design studio (with CAD equipment), and a fabrication studio (with sheet metal shop, machine shop, surface preparation facility, and laminating roll press for applying optical films).

Felizardo Valencia Middle School, Tucson, Arizona
A new 850-student facility with expansion capabilities to 900 students, sited on a 35-acre campus. Valencia sets a precedent as the first middle school to be designed for a new middle school concept that was recently adopted by the School Board. This project was designed in collaboration with Architecture One Ltd. This School won a 1994 AIA Honor Award.
Radford High School Special Ed Classroom, Honolulu
An existing home economics classroom was converted into a special Ed classroom, incorporating food preparation, exercise, instruction, dressing and bathing areas. This project was required to meet all of the new requirements for individuals with profound disabilities.
