They are vessels woven out metal strips that are coated on one side with an optical film. The pieces are called light vessels because they explore the boundaries of opacity and transparency, and the ephemeral nature of reflections, as they relate to form. They are at once massive, and at the next moment nearly invisible because the strips act as light louvers and are nearly invisible when seen from their top edges and very solid when seen from their sides.

Light Vessels are currently being fabricated for custom applications and can be made out of a variety of metals, and made into almost any size and shape.
